Episode 4: Dr Jacky Collins

Books, Unpacked with Dr Jacky Collins, lecturer, festival founder and events chair

Our fourth episode features Dr Jacky Collins, aka Dr Noir. In 2014, Jacky founded the Newcastle Noir Crime Festival, bringing crime writers from across the globe to connect with Northern readers. Jacky is also a frequent event chair, facilitating conversations with authors at Granite Noir, Iceland Noir and more. We chat to Jacky about her background in Spanish Language and Culture, the work that goes into planning and managing a festival, and find out how she gets the very best out of author discussions.

Huge thanks to everyone who has subscribed and listened so far. If you like what we do, let us know and share Books, Unpacked with your friends.
