For our twelfth episode, we’re in conversation with Julia Green and David Almond for our first live event. Our event opened the Books On Tyne Festival in Newcastle City Library, and we were joined by Julia, David and a live audience for an hour of conversation on all things children’s books. After an epic journey through the snow to get there, we settled in to find out more about how they work, their relationships with illustrators and publishers and what both Julia and David are working on next.
We’d like to thank Derek from the City Library for hosting us, and Reed from Ingram Sound for making sure we had the right equipment for the event. We’ve a lot to learn but hope you enjoy this first live episode!
Thanks to everyone who has subscribed and listened to our podcast journey so far. If you like what we do, let us know and share Books, Unpacked with your friends.
Thanks again to Podington Bear for the soundtrack.
